Thin lips can often be hereditary or develop as a person ages due to changes in skin structure and loss of collagen. These natural internal processes can contribute to the development of lines and wrinkles, which can affect both the upper and lower lips, the skin around the mouth, or on the lips themselves. Due to ageing and other external factors, such as smoking, sun exposure and repeated movements of the mouth, the lips can lose moisture and become dry and withered.

Dermal Lip Fillers contain a special formula that is gentler and more appropriate for this sensitive area of the face. At REAL Clinic, the lip fillers we use are made up of a smooth gel that can “enhance” the lips. The gel is injected into the lips using a very thin needle, or micro-cannula. This method ensures that the procedure is more comfortable and produces fewer side effects. The goal of this treatment is to create a naturally fuller look, highlighting the inherent curves of the lips as well as the Cupid’s bow. This is achieved by distributing the correct amount of product to replace the lost volume, and enhance the size or shape of the lips. Since lip fillers also contain hyaluronic acid, it can increase skin moisture for a more youthful appearance, while restoring a moist, rosy look.

We use the most high grade products on the market so as to ensure efficacy and safety. During a pre-treatment consultation, our lip augmentation specialists will recommend the right amount of filler to suit your needs, helping to restore the natural contours of the lips, and leave you with a pout you can be proud of.
