HAND REJUVENATION

Just like the face, the appearance of the hands can also be affected by the ageing process. As collagen and elastin depletes, volume loss and thinning skin can make the hands look bony, with veins that become more prominent. The skin can also start to dry out, which can be accelerated by the many products that the hands are exposed to throughout the day, along with constant exposure to the environment and other conditions. This can lead to dry skin that looks crepey, and damaged skin cells that display small patches of pigmentation (age spots). Hand rejuvenation can reverse the signs of ageing so a more youthful look is restored.

Hand rejuvenation can come in the form of a single treatment or a combination of procedures, depending on your individual needs. Our doctors and medical professionals devise a personal treatment plan that provides details of our approach and the results that you can expect. In essence, our aim for youthful looking hands is to provide the skin with increased hydration and volume. These elements can improve the quality and condition of the skin for a smooth, plump and evenly toned appearance.

Your bespoke treatments may include any of the following:

Dermal fillers – adding volume to the underlying tissues for fuller, softer skin;
Chemical peels – resurfacing the skin to uncover a new healthy layer that is even in texture and tone;
Skin boosters – increasing hydration from the inside out, improves the skin’s condition;
Profhilo – revitalising the skin whilst also boosting the production of collagen and elastin;
Advanced skin care – to preserve, prevent and protect the skin on the hands for long-term skin health.

QUESTIONS ABOUT HAND REJUVENATION

  • Does hand rejuvenation hurt?

    During the consultation our medical professionals will ensure you are fully prepared for the treatment(s) you are about to undergo, including any slight discomfort your personalised procedures may produce.

  • What results can be expected from hand rejuvenation?

    Fat dissolving injections can be used to treat a variety of areas on the face and body. The most popular area for treatment is the submental fat beneath the chin, although fat dissolving injections can be effective for us on arms, thighs, knees, abdomen and back / bra fat. It is important to understand that fat dissolving injections are not a replacement for a healthy diet and exercise and are not suitable for people who are particularly overweight or obese, or looking to remove large areas of fat.

  • How much does hand rejuvenation cost?

    As each hand rejuvenation treatment is bespoke to the patient, the cost may vary. Typically, this treatment can cost from around £450
